The Issue:
Virtually all of us spend pretty much all of our time immersed in human culture. So most of us aren’t even aware that this immersion narrows our vision, our existential understanding, and our connection to the larger reality.
The Vision:
Once self referential human culture has been sufficiently stripped away, for many people, it often feels like they have been gazing at their navels for their entire lives. And the whole world opens up. It is transformative, energizing, beautiful, and profoundly grounding.
We are forming a community to help and celebrate one another’s experience of solos (and yes there is some fun irony in a community for solitude). So, if you feel modern human culture may be off the rails ritualistic solos in beautiful wilderness may be the foundation for a civilization that works.
